It seems that it has taken "forever" for the project behind Mother's house to get done. We had hoped that the road would finally be in but during the time we were there in September, they blocked us from using our driveway - sending us up "over the top of the world" as Grandma calls it - and finally got the curb and gutter in.
I don't know if you can call this progress or not, but Mother got upset because the wheels on her walker were not moving easily. When I couldn't do anything about it she marched to the phone and wanted to call Eric to come immediately to fix it. I told her he would be there the next day and she could get along with it that evening. She got upset with me and refused to use her walker at all. When she had to go to the bathroom, she "walked" this chair all the way in and back.
