What We've been up to

I am actually starting currently and going backwards.
Shanda had asked me how she could get some Christmas fabrics cheap because she liked to have a bag each day leading up to Christmas for her children to open.
I talked out several things with her and we thought she should wait until fabrics went on 70% clearance after Christmas - but what could she do now?
Well the next day, we went to Salt Lake to help Joyce, Garth's sister,  with final cleaning out for her move to Idaho and she gave me tons of Christmas fabrics so this is what I did

   






 Some time ago Shanda asked if I would make Talia a Merida costume for Halloween and this is what I created.














When Joyce announced to us that she was going to get married again, she asked if I would make her a beautiful wedding/temple dress.  She got the lace and satin for it but this is what I came up with

On October 5th Joyce & Tom Miller - a long time friend - were married & sealed in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple.  Tom lives in Moscow, Idaho so Joyce has moved there from Salt Lake.

       For some time Trina had been waiting for me to find time to re-upholster the seat and back cushions on her couch.  Here, our grandson, Mitchell, is reclining on the newly re-upholstered couch








One of our biggest things was we decided to re-do all of the flooring on the main level of our house.  We put carpet in the living room and two bedrooms and laminate flooring in the rest of the house

Each month we host our adult grandchildren for a dinner at our house.  The two married couples were missing for this one but here are the rest of our adult grandchildren.

The last trip we have made was to Colorado Springs in August to attend the baptism of our grandson, Milo by his brother, Gavin.  There are Shanda and Preston's children

We took a hike with Shanda and family in a very beautiful natural park near their home.

On October 9th we were privileged to join Mellissa and Jake Wood for the blessing of their first child - Elias Orion Wood.  This is our 2nd Great grandson from the Rosenhan girls.
